Help Us Stock the Groton Food Locker

The Groton Public Library is collecting canned and boxed foods for the Groton Food Locker from September 2–30.

Housed within Groton Human Services, the Food Locker serves an estimated 1,600 people each year and is open to anyone in need of emergency food. There are no residency or income requirements.

Please bring your donations to the bin inside the Library. Items most needed include:

  • Hot or cold cereal
  • Canned fruits and vegetables
  • Juice
  • Spaghetti sauce
  • Soup
  • Rice
  • Peanut butter and jelly
  • Macaroni & cheese mix
  • Tuna and canned meats
